About The Position
Mathnasium of Upper Arlington is seeking a part-time Math Instructor/Tutor to help K-12 students catch up, keep up, and get ahead with personalized instruction. This role involves teaching math using the Mathnasium Method™ with ready-made lesson plans, fostering a supportive team environment, and offering flexible after-school and weekend shifts. The position provides ongoing training, continuous coaching, and a clear path for advancement.
Requirements
- Strong math skills from Kindergarten through Algebra I (preference for those who can teach Algebra and beyond, including Pre-Calculus and ACT/SAT)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with kids
- Ability to pass a background check
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Availability for 2+ afternoon shifts (Sun-Thur, 3-4hrs)
- All applicants must complete a math literacy test to demonstrate proficiency
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching math

Responsibilities
- Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
