Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Needed for Metro Northeastern Indiana!
About The Position
A Board Eligible or Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician is needed for a premier hospital group in Metro Northeastern Indiana. This is a consult-only position with a 1:3 call schedule. The physician will work alongside a large Ob/Gyn team, including Ob Hospitalists, at a state-of-the-art hospital. The hospital features a high acuity ICU with ECMO, is a Primary Stroke Center (currently pursuing Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification), and has a Level III NICU. The facility is equipped with 5 GE Voluson E10 Ultrasound Machines, with more on the way, and is supported by 5 dedicated OB sonographers, 2 NPs, 1 Genetic Counselor, and a full support team. The hospital also has 16 L&D Beds and 24 Post-Partum Beds. The community is a large metro area in northeastern Indiana with a population of over 250,000 and a service area of 820,000+. It offers numerous attractions, including a zoo, arts & entertainment, outdoor recreational activities, and theaters. It is located 2 hours from Toledo, OH, and 3 hours from Detroit, MI. The area boasts a high quality of life, low cost of living, fine dining, shopping, excellent school systems, and is considered a physician-friendly state with low malpractice rates, low income tax, and great teaching institutions. This opportunity is for physicians only. Board Eligible candidates must become Board Certified within 5 years of eligibility. Visas are not supported at this location.
