About The Position
Board Eligible or Board Certified Intensivist Physician needed for a premier hospital group in Metro Northeastern Indiana. Join an amazing collegial group for ICU ONLY. This is a high acuity ICU with ECMO, and the hospital is state-of-the-art with 450 beds. The community is a large metro area in northeastern Indiana with a population of 250,000+ and a service area of 820,000+. Indiana is a physician-friendly state, known for low malpractice rates, low income tax, low cost of living, great schools, and great teaching institutions. Visa sponsorships are not supported at this location.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Intensivist Physician
- Must be Board Certified within 5 years of being Board Eligible
- Physician only
- Visa's cannot be supported
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ECMO
- Experience in a Primary Stroke Center
Responsibilities
- ICU ONLY
- 7 on 7 off schedule
- Rotate nights (3 weeks of nights per year)
- Manage high acuity ICU patients (12-14 patients per day)
- Work in a state-of-the-art hospital with ECMO and Primary Stroke Center capabilities
