Trauma Surgeon Needed for Metro Northeastern Indiana!
About The Position
Board Eligible or Board Certified Trauma Surgeon needed for a Premier Hospital Group in Metro Northeastern Indiana. This is an opportunity to join an amazing collegial group at a state-of-the-art hospital with 450 beds. The hospital features a high acuity ICU with ECMO and is an Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center II. It also includes 3 Outpatient Surgery Centers, a Primary Stroke Center, and is currently pursuing Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification. The community is a large metro area in northeastern Indiana with a population of over 250,000 and a service area of 820,000+. Indiana is a physician-friendly state, known for its low malpractice rates, low income tax, low cost of living, great schools, and excellent teaching institutions. This position is not able to support visas.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified Trauma Surgeon.
- Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Must be a physician.
- If Board Eligible, must be Board Certified within 5 years of being Board Eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Training in Surgical Critical Care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide trauma surgery services.
- Work 12-hour shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule.
