About The Position
Baptist Medical Network, part of Tenet Healthcare, is expanding its Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) program to meet demand in San Antonio. This is a consultative-only role, meaning there is no delivery obligation. The position is backed by a large, established referral network, allowing for rapid practice ramp-up. The role offers the clinical autonomy of a private practice with the infrastructure and support of a major health system. The clinic is located in a Medical Office Building adjacent to the hospital and is equipped with AI scribe technology to reduce documentation burden. Dedicated administrative and clinical support staff are provided. Baptist Medical Network includes over 7 hospitals, neighborhood medical centers, and satellite clinics.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Consultative-only MFM role with no delivery obligation.
- Build practice volume quickly through a large, established referral network.
- Utilize AI scribe technology to reduce documentation burden.
- Work with a dedicated team of ARMDS-certified sonographers and genetic counselors.
