About The Position

The Warehouse Yard Coordinator is responsible for the movement of all trailers and the coordination of all materials from trailers to production. This position will serve as the main contact between drivers and warehouse teams. The role involves coordinating trailer movements within the warehouse yard and the plant according to QAD replenishment requirements, ensuring timely fulfillment of QAD replenishment orders, and completing material transactions on computer systems and scanners. The coordinator must maintain the QAD replenishment system and receive material as required. Additionally, they will coordinate material picking and put away within supermarket warehouses, act as the main contact for switching drivers, coordinate with warehouse teams, and escalate issues. The position requires learning and following all applicable policies and procedures, with potential for independent action on non-standardized tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
• Strong team player with ability to interact with all functional areas
• Ability to work with MRP system
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and learn computer applications
• 2+ years experience in assembly/manufacturing warehouse, stockroom setting preferred
• 1+ years production control experience preferred
• Automotive manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all trailer movements within the warehouse yard and the plant, according to QAD replenishment requirements
• Ensure to fulfilled QAD replenishment orders on time
• Completing material transaction on computer system and scanners
• Maintain QAD replenishment system updated according to locations parameters storage
• Receive material as required
• Coordinate the material picking and put away within supermarket warehouses
• Serve as main contact for switching driver; coordinate with warehouse teams; escalate issues
• Learn and follow all applicable policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
