About The Position

The Materials Systems & Process Manager owns how materials move, are recorded, and are taught across the enterprise, and leads the team responsible for confirming that every site is ready to run those processes. The role designs, standardizes, and scales materials management and warehouse processes, and serves as the subject matter expert for supply chain systems, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The Manager keeps physical material flow aligned with ERP/WMS execution and develops training and certification programs to make that alignment repeatable at every site.

The Manager leads the Supply Training & Analysis Team, which develops curriculum, delivers and certifies training, and analyzes performance data to confirm readiness across Supply Chain Materials. The role supports production scaling using historical data from current programs of record and prepares new and expanding sites to operate to enterprise standards from day one.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or materials management.
• ERP/WMS experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow.

Nice To Haves

• Startup or scaling manufacturing experience.
• Lean / Six Sigma background.
• Experience developing SOPs, training programs, or certification processes.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain standardized SOPs for receiving, storage, inventory control, kitting, and replenishment.
• Drive enterprise-wide process standardization, with documented and approved exceptions where needed.
• Manage SOP version control and change management to keep field practices aligned with written procedures.
• Align physical material flow with ERP/WMS transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and end-to-end traceability.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for materials-related system configuration, transaction discipline, and process-to-system gaps.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Production, and Quality to define requirements and resolve system or data issues.
• Lead, develop, and set priorities for the Supply Training & Analysis Team.
• Set the team's annual plan for curriculum releases, site training cycles, readiness assessments, and reporting.
• Coach team members on instructional quality, data analysis, and technical depth in materials and warehouse operations.
• Conduct process audits and monitor KPIs, including inventory accuracy, pick accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and shortages.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans; feed recurring findings back into SOPs and training.
• Report site readiness and performance trends to Supply Chain leadership.
• Support production scaling with historical data from current programs of record.
• Prepare new and expanding sites to operate to enterprise standards from day one.
