Requirements

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner
High attention to organization and detail
Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures
Previous forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets
Communicate potential shortages to cycle counters and/or material coordinators
Ensure purchased part markets are conforming to the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) plan layout
Develop and maintain 5S standards for parts markets – assist with updating standard work, training to standard work, and auditing when appropriate
Update market metric boards on a daily basis
Create and support all process changes to purchased parts markets – new parts, stock utilization, identifying obsolete parts
Perform Kanban card audits
Assist with physical layout and implementation of purchased parts markets
Material handle purchased parts as needed using mobile equipment
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
