About The Position

As a Materials Handler, you will ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately and safely to support production and customer orders. Your work is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, safety, and operational flow as Accelevation scales. The role is located in Houston, Mississippi, and is listed for first shift. Requirements

At least one year of experience in a warehouse associate or shipping position; manufacturing-facility experience is preferred.
At least one year of forklift-driving experience is required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good data-entry, math, and computer skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow through on assignments.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised while prioritizing tasks.
Self-motivation and ability to lead projects to completion with minimal oversight.

Warehouse or shipping experience in a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving truckloads, checking in products, and matching purchase orders.
File requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
Perform daily cycle counts.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers.
Pull parts for production and customer orders using an ERP Sales Order Pick List.
Package orders to prevent shipping damage.
Load and unload trucks with materials and supplies.
Load and package items onto pallets, and label, wrap, and strap them for shipping.
Inventory, organize, and label items within the warehouse.
Clean the work area and remove trash daily.
