Requirements

  • 4-year college degree preferred/relevant experience considered
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant planning/project management; preferably within the food/beverage industry
  • SAP and/or MRP-driven system experience
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Analytically inclined - able to merge large data sets, analyze data, synthesize business insight and clearly communicate findings.
  • Problem Solver - applies critical-thinking skills to generate, evaluate and implement solutions.
  • Change Agile - Successfully adapts to changing situations. Manages ambiguity in the function/ role.
  • Collaborative across cross functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with production planning, operations, engineering, purchasing, and quality to attain production goals.
  • Responsible for providing materials for short-term and long-term production plan. Highlight materials constraints, assess, and communicate impacts, and take appropriate actions in line with global policy.
  • Manage inventory level for packaging changes and ensure availability for innovation projects.
  • Communicate needs and timing to Vendor and resolve capacity issues by prioritizing scheduling and suggestions.
  • Implement best practice standards and drive adoption
  • Provide insight and Analysis on changing material trends and demand patterns.
  • Work with Operations to determine, research, and correct material inventory discrepancy issues and causes.
  • Responsible for the development, creation, and communication of various S&OP reports
  • Support and/or lead ad hoc projects and analysis, as requested
