About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Materials Planner. This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret BOMs, routings, and manufacturing process flows
  • Positive “can do” attitude, professional demeanor, performance oriented, and strong customer focus
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to follow and perform off of verbal instructions as well as read/write in English
  • Ability to read specifications, route sheets, blueprints, charts, test information and bills of material
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, ratios)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders and material availability
  • Reviews and manages inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess and obsolescence
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure required components are available to support the production plan
  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and adjust schedule to address bottlenecks, labor constraints, equipment downtime or engineering changes
  • Analyze capacity requirements and recommend adjustments to staffing, shift patterns or machine utilization
  • Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to communicate schedule changes, resolve conflicts, and support daily production needs
  • Track schedule adherence and identify root causes for delays or inefficiencies
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating production readiness, routing setup, and phase-in/phase-out planning
  • Maintain accurate planning data in the ERP system, including routings, lead times, and work center capacities
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve operational performance
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
