About The Position

The Materials Management Tech I supports patient care and operational reliability by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of medical and office supplies throughout the healthcare facility. This role helps maintain inventory levels, supports regulatory compliance, and contributes to a safe and efficient environment. The employee performs other duties as assigned, with all job responsibilities carried out in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory management software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move supplies.

• Basic mathematical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school diploma or associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of medical supplies and hospital logistics.
