About The Position
Supports the hospital's mission and the department by maintaining accurate par levels, performing cycle counts and all duties as assigned by the Director of Materials Management.
Requirements
- Experience and skills equal to acquiring a high school diploma required.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification.
- Associates Degree plus two years purchasing experience.
Responsibilities
- Reviews daily stock outs and corrects issues.
- Looks for opportunities to improve inventory control process.
- Assist Material Management Supervisor with necessary changes to par stock in the main storeroom to assure adequate stock for floors.
- Counts and maintains floor and charge stock inventory management areas within employees responsibility.
- Accurately checks and fills floor stock.
- Issues, fills and delivers requisitioned supplies to departments within the employees responsibility.
- Maintains accurate par levels at areas of responsibility.
- Communicates areas of need in relation to supplies.
- Performs cycle counts in stock locations as required.
- Performs all duties assigned by the Director of Materials Management.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.
- Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct.
- Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs.
- Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.
- Complies with all HIPAA standards.
