About The Position

The Materials Management Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting cross-functional operations within the RTP Bio/Pharma sites in a cGMP environment. This position ensures the efficient coordination of outbound shipments, accurate inventory management, and continuous process improvement. The role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the handling, storage, and movement of critical materials, including raw materials, drug substances, drug products, and cell banks. What You’ll Do Coordinate all outbound shipments of material samples, raw materials, drug substances, drug products, and cell banks by collaborating with cross-functional teams Ensure all required shipping documentation (e.g., invoices, packing slips) is accurate and complete while maintaining cGMP compliance and a safe working environment Who You Are You are a highly motivated, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working independently while ensuring logistics activities are executed safely, accurately, and in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Requirements

  • Completed High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a GMP materials management or GMP logistics environment (Will consider Associate's plus 3 years experience or Bachelor's plus 2 years experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Oracle Executive Business Suite Knowledge
  • Experienced with DOT/IATA hazardous shipments

Responsibilities
