About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Materials Management and Transportation Manager to join our ESRC Materials Management team in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate is a self-motivated, driven person who can manage and integrate employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation, specifically in the delivery customer service role. You should be able to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of team members and lead process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Our team is currently hiring a Level K Materials Management and Transportation Manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply chain and/or Materials Management
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high-stakes discussions
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
