About The Position

As a Materials Coordinator at SPX Cooling Technologies, you will develop and execute material plans to support production schedules, maintain inventories, and update production schedules to reflect current customer demand. The role leads other material handlers and fills in as needed for the Material Supervisor. It is an onsite position in a manufacturing plant environment.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of related work experience, or a college degree in a related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with inventory management practices and procedures.
• Ability to direct hourly employees in their daily activities and establish priorities.
• Previous experience with SAP or other MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders in the Demand Planning System (SAP).
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Monitor material flow through production.
• Direct Material Handler activities as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain the production schedule to ensure timely workflow.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support production and logistics efficiency.
