About The Position

Internship placements are based on both candidate preferences and business needs. Although location preferences will be considered, placement at a specific location cannot be guaranteed and is dependent on functional and location availability (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi). This internship provides hands-on experience in inventory management, logistics, material flow, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing or corporate environment depending on placement.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the US.
• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Materials Science).

Responsibilities

• Track incoming and outgoing containers to support material flow and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with inventory analysis and reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives by analyzing stock levels and helping implement corrective actions.
• Monitor expendable packaging and shipping assets, including tracking, recovery, and repayment activities.
• Gain hands-on exposure to the key functions and responsibilities within the Materials and Supply Chain department.
• Evaluate material flow and dock layouts to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, organization, and throughput.
• Collaborate with Materials, Production, and Operations teams on projects focused on process improvement and supply chain performance.
