Materials Handler - Per Diem
About The Position
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Materials Handler to join its Supply Chain team. This collaborative role supports the organization’s mission by handling materials safely and efficiently. The Materials Handler reports to the Manager of Supply Chain and works with teammates and leadership in a fast-paced environment. The position is per diem, with 0 scheduled weekly hours. The hourly base pay range is $17.92–$31.36; individual pay depends on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. Eligible team members may receive additional compensation through applicable shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other differentials. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in material handling or warehouse work.
- Ability to consistently be on time and contribute to a team.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Verify orders against items to be delivered to ensure delivery accuracy.
- Deliver requested items or report issues preventing delivery to appropriate persons.
- Communicate with internal and external customers about inventory levels, supply availability, and product identification.
- Manage documentation for distributed inventory.
- Maintain work and storage areas and equipment in an organized, clean, and safe condition.
