About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Materials Handler at its Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania location. The role supports the production line by moving materials and helping ensure maximum efficiency. The position requires operating a sit-down forklift and other material-handling equipment, and safely handling materials received, stored, and shipped through the assembly plant. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that it will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in Pennsylvania and other listed states.

Requirements

• Regular attendance is essential.
• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Prior forklift certification or ability to pass the company forklift test.
• Ability to communicate well in English.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass print-reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to handle and move materials.
• Safely and efficiently handle materials received, stored, and shipped through the assembly plant.
• Keep workstations loaded with production materials.
• Operate material-handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Understand, support, and implement company housekeeping, safety, and quality policies and procedures in daily work habits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
