About The Position

Responsible for maintaining inventory, locating material for production orders, and preparing finished stock for shipment. Requirements

• Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate
• High school diploma/GED required
• Strong attention to detail
• 1+ years’ inventory management experience
• Ability to walk and stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs
• Ability to crawl on hands and knees
• Ability to climb a ladder
• Ability to work long hours
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions, sometimes including extreme cold and heat.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Maintains in-process inventory.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Participates in ordering or purchasing standard stock items, such as recommending additions or deletions to standard stock items or ordering replenishments within established procedures and limits.
