About The Position

A Materials Handler is responsible for supplying raw material to the press and daily changeovers. This role involves maintaining and cleaning equipment, managing raw materials, and assisting the production team with plant floor housekeeping. The position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires adherence to safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures
• Good attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated
• Ability to plan and organize their schedule

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Responsible for material change overs at the molding machine.
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning dryers, grinders and raw material area.
• Maintain and correctly label the raw materials.
• Assist production team on housekeeping of plant floor.
• Operates forklift, pallet truck and other associated material handling equipment.
