About The Position

Pro-Active Engineering is hiring a Materials Coordinator to perform timely material kit pulls in support of planned work order requirements. The role ensures kits are accurate, complete, and in suitable condition according to established policies, procedures, and regulations. The coordinator will also be cross-trained in all Materials responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of inventory management software and job management software.
Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
Associate degree in an electronics-related field.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records that provide required traceability, precision, and evidence of material-handling operations, with reliable transaction histories.
Gather planned material requirements according to the kitting schedule and issue kits to Production in time to meet scheduled work order demand.
Perform inventory cycle counts and accurately record the results.
Keep the inventory stockroom clean, organized, and safe according to standards and policies; properly dispose of debris, clutter, and recyclable products.
Handle non-conforming materials (NCM) according to established procedures and practices.
Generate product identification labels.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, including lifting and stocking materials in appropriate inventory areas.
Review processes on an ongoing basis and suggest improvements.
Follow company policies and procedures, with particular attention to safety regulations.
Wear personal protective equipment according to training guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
