About The Position

Saint Luke's South in Overland Park is hiring a Materials Associate Procedural. This role supports hospital materials management by handling supplies and equipment, replenishing inventory, preparing procedure carts for surgeries, and maintaining inventory locations and equipment. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a 6:00 a.m. start time.

Requirements

Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Less than one year of applicable experience.

Nice To Haves

Inventory management experience.
Some computer experience.
Knowledge of medical supplies or previous stockroom experience.
Previous procedural experience.

Responsibilities

Order, track, stock, audit, and deliver materials and equipment throughout the hospital.
Perform MMIS receiving transactions using handheld or iPad devices and desktop applications.
Replenish par locations by picking orders and gathering or filling empty bins.
Requisition commodity and central store supplies.
Put away stock, break down cardboard, and maintain a clean environment.
Follow up on order issues, including mispicks and shortages, and obtain substitute products when needed.
Pull procedure carts and pick sheets to prepare for surgeries.
Address incoming and outgoing communications with internal customers.
Assist with supply chain projects and initiatives, including building carts, labeling supplies, participating in physical inventory, and setting up or reorganizing inventory locations.
Meet quality and safety expectations, including auditing inventory locations for regulatory compliance, cleanliness, organization, expired supplies, ceiling heights, and correct supply placement.
Clean and disinfect equipment and specialized carts for deployment throughout the hospital.
May operate motorized pallet jacks.
May be cross-trained in other materials management functions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
