The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role involves executing transactions within the management system and utilizing both PC and RF scanner technologies. The associate will review and verify all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, and ensure goods are transported and stored to prevent damage. Additionally, the role includes supervising the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are handled, stored, and maintained securely. The associate will also remove non-functional items, report problems, inspect working and storage areas for cleanliness and order, and adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and good housekeeping practices. A daily inspection checklist is required when using powered equipment.
