The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customers, stock replenishments, and filling customer orders. This role utilizes a management system, PC, and RF scanner technologies for transaction processing. The associate will review and verify all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, and ensure goods are transported and stored to prevent damage. They will supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are handled, stored, and maintained securely. Non-functional equipment and supplies will be removed from service and reported for corrective action. The associate will also inspect working and storage areas, maintain clean and orderly conditions, work safely, comply with all safety regulations (department, System, and OSHA), and perform good housekeeping. Daily inspection checklists for powered equipment will be completed and submitted if required.
