The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customers, stock replenishments, and filling customer orders. This role utilizes a management system, PC, and RF scanner technologies for transaction processing. The associate will review and verify all documentation for completeness and accuracy, operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, and transport and store goods to prevent damage. They will also supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are handled, stored, and maintained securely. Non-functional equipment and supplies will be removed from service and reported for corrective action. The associate is responsible for inspecting working and storage areas to ensure clean and orderly conditions, working safely, complying with all safety regulations (department, System, and OSHA), and performing good housekeeping. A daily inspection checklist is required when using any powered equipment.
