Materials Associate
About The Position
Tolomatic is looking for a Materials Associate. This role involves picking parts for assembly cells and maintaining and stocking inventory consistent with company policies and procedures. The associate will also accurately document material movement within the inventory system. This is an opportunity to use material handling skills while working on a variety of made-to-order projects in a clean, modern, climate-controlled work environment. The company is a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience and is an innovative leader in pneumatic and motion control products with a global reach.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- At least 6 months to 1 year of related parts picking and/or cycle counting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic to Intermediate PC skills with the ability to navigate from one screen to another
- Microsoft Office – Word and Excel knowledge
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions – basic math skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to be trained to operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed
- Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with company personnel and others
