The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role utilizes a management system, PC, and RF scanner technologies to process transactions. The associate will review and verify all documentation, operate powered and non-powered equipment safely, and supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies. Ensuring equipment and supplies are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment is crucial. The role also involves removing non-functional equipment and supplies, reporting problems, and maintaining clean and orderly working and storage areas, adhering to all safety regulations and good housekeeping practices. A daily inspection checklist for powered equipment is required if applicable.
