The Materials Associate is responsible for processing transactions accurately and timely related to the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments, and the filling of customer orders. This role executes transactions within the management system, utilizing both PC and RF scanner technologies. The associate reviews and verifies all documentation for thoroughness and accuracy, operates powered and non-powered equipment safely, and transports and stores goods to prevent damage. They also supervise the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies, ensuring they are handled, stored, and maintained in a secure environment. Non-functional equipment and supplies are removed from service, and problems are reported for corrective action. The associate inspects working and storage areas to ensure clean and orderly conditions, works safely by complying with all department, System, and OSHA safety regulations, and performs good housekeeping. A daily inspection checklist is completed when using any powered equipment, if required by the department.
