About The Position

The Material/Stock Handler maintains a continuous supply of components, resins, and packaging to support efficient production operations. The role also ensures finished production is accounted for in a timely manner. The position is in the Operations department, based in Plymouth, and reports to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Competency in reading, writing, and basic math.
Valid driver’s license or state ID card.
Pass a Power Industrial Truck test.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of operator experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Keep scheduled production machines and equipment continuously supplied with components, resins, and packaging, ensuring materials are properly labeled.
Assist with setups by draining, cleaning, and refilling resin hoppers and dryers during changeovers.
Prepare cells for the next scheduled production by relabeling and removing and storing materials, packaging, and finished product from the previous production run.
Promptly remove finished product from cells after Quality Control has checked and stamped it; label, weigh, and scan approved product at the CMS station and store it in the correct warehouse location.
Print product barcode labels as needed.
Verify that finished product leaving the cell is acceptable and properly packaged.
Inform the shift Plant Team Manager of component, resin, or packaging shortages or discrepancies, and of jobs nearing completion.
Ensure each scheduled cell has at least 1–2 hours of components, resin, and packaging at the end of the shift.
Ensure plant 5S procedures are followed for storage and handling of components, resins, packaging, and finished products.
Assist with other plant projects or tasks as required.
Maintain basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.
Follow safety rules and report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.
