About The Position
Bollinger is seeking a Material Specialist to locate and move materials and parts from warehouse to storage areas and between work areas of the facility.
Requirements
- Forklift certification required
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Must be familiar with measuring devices and have basic computer skills
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Nice To Haves
- Six (6) months’ experience in a similar role preferred
- Overhead crane experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviews production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required materials
- Confers with department supervisors to determine materials overdue and to inform them of location, availability, and the condition of the materials
- Will load and unload materials to and from delivery trucks, either internal or external.
- Will receive, uncrate, and inspect materials received at the Warehouse
- Performs physical inventory counts and enter counts in inventory management software
- Locates and moves materials distributed and on hand
- Compares work ticket specifications with material prior to loading truck at warehouse
