About The Position

The Material Sorter at Gel Recycling performs physical tasks that support the operations of a recycling facility. The role involves manual labor, material handling, and collaborating with team members to process and recycle materials efficiently. The position is in Orange City, Florida.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Garbage or recycling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort recycling materials from conveyor belts or processing equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized to support a safe, efficient environment.
• Collaborate with machine operators to support smooth equipment operation and follow instructions for processing recycled material.
• Maintain basic records of material movements and activities as required.
• Report issues, incidents, or observations to supervisors.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Communicate with supervisors and colleagues about challenges or concerns.
