This Material Program Manager (MPM) role may work onsite in our Forest, MS office location or McKinney, TX.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with SAP and/or related material planning tool/s
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a Supply Chain role and/or program/project management position
  • Experience working with suppliers in a program/project management role, and/or other capacity evaluating/tracking/managing supplier partnerships or performance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

  • Experience with Design to Cost and Cost Reduction Initiative activities

Responsibilities

  • Advise the Supply Chain Management Lead as well as the Program Management Office on material strategies, plans and supplier risk mitigation activities
  • Responsible for supporting the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives
  • Early supplier involvement that is focused on strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets
  • Support the development and execution of material program plans (MPP)
  • Establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs
  • Support the development and execution of risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
  • Partner cross functionally with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues along side procurement and program functions
  • Exert influence to achieve overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team
  • Frequently lead discussions and presentations to all levels of management and senior leadership
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
  • Be responsible for Material inputs and analysis to Estimates at Complete
