This role is responsible for preparing components for the layup line to build. The Material Prep - Stile Manager will read and interpret schedules, pull accurate materials and door skins, and manage material locations. They will read tickets and schedules to determine correct materials, count and stack skins in the correct orientation and order. The position involves using a conveyor belt to load components onto carts for the layup lines and unloading components as per tickets. Responsibilities include adding and rejecting cull boards, inspecting and recording reject skins, returning skins to the correct location, and moving cull boards by pushing a cart. The role also requires recording specific information on each stack of skins and identifying special cut skins. This involves measuring and setting up skins to cut to specific widths and lengths based on chart specifications, knowing all skin SKUs, and being able to handle multiple skins at once. Accuracy is crucial, requiring the use of a tape measure to the 32nd of an inch, validating skin accuracy before and after cuts, performing quality inspections, and pre-flipping skins in the proper orientation with the correct count and in schedule order. Other duties may be assigned by the leadership team.
