About The Position

As a Material Planner (m/w/d), you will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring optimal logistics planning. This will ensure the timely supply of materials to guarantee optimal supply of parts and components to our production. You will review, define, and carry out material requirements planning for finished products as well as the procurement of components and spare parts. Hereby, you will analyze material availability based on forecasts, lead times, and past orders. You will coordinate closely with our purchasing and sales departments to stay up-to-date on project and spare parts orders. Based on the contracts negotiated by purchasing, you will order the necessary parts from our suppliers and monitor the individual steps of order processing up to delivery to our production. You will report potential supply bottlenecks and immediately initiate necessary measures. Furthermore, you will participate in planning meetings and support the annual inventory count.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training.
  • Several years of experience in planning, scheduling, and materials management in a comparable company.
  • Experience with SAP R3 in the MM/WM/PP area.
  • MS Office and good Excel skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Team player with a focus on the essentials and a high degree of communication skills and resilience.
  • Very good German and English skills.
