About The Position
The Material Movement Technician/Material Handler is responsible for handling, staging, and transferring materials within ISO 7/8 cleanrooms to support sterile manufacturing operations. This role ensures timely and compliant movement of materials while adhering to GMP and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and contamination control.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and maintain compliance with cGMPs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in controlled environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking tools is a plus.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transfer raw materials, components, and finished products within controlled environments while maintaining material integrity.
- Perform staging, kitting, and material issuance to support manufacturing schedules.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, clean carts) within GMP guidelines.
- Assist with material reconciliation and accurate inventory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental monitoring and gowning requirements in ISO 7/8 areas.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and quality teams to optimize workflow.
