Material Logistics Management Audit Specialist
About The Position
This role involves assessing and evaluating monthly plant submissions to ensure compliance with defined criteria. The specialist will validate attachments, confirm data accuracy for the specific reporting month, and communicate findings and required rework to plants. Responsibilities include summarizing audit results for leadership, identifying trends in rework issues, and suggesting corrective actions. Additionally, the role requires performing data validation audits upon request, which may involve deeper dives into submitted data and potential on-site verification, with summarized results reported to leadership.
Requirements
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel (or equivalent), able to analyze data through pivots, V-Lookup, graph trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (or equivalent).
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner (writing, verbally).
Responsibilities
- Assessing / Evaluating monthly plant submissions (~27 per month) which includes validation of required attachments, confirmation that attachments meet criteria and are for the specific reporting month, providing a compliant / not compliant status for each requirement.
- Communicating required rework/resubmissions to the plants.
- Following up with plants to ensure resubmissions are received and accurate.
- Summarizing audit results for Leadership.
- Trending rework issues for similar themes and suggesting appropriate corrective actions.
- Performing actual data validation audits upon request.
- Conducting deeper dives into the monthly submitted data to validate proper use (could include on-site verification).
- Summarizing deep dive audit results for Leadership.
