The Supervisor/Team Lead for Material Handling is responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and control of materials within a facility. This role ensures that raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods are handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Requirements

Safety procedures and OSHA compliance are top priorities
Experience with cycle counts, lean manufacturing, and assembly line operations is common
Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate between departments.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse and material handling operations — including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with safety standards — such as forklift operation, OSHA regulations, and proper handling of hazardous materials
Manage material flow — coordinating the movement of goods to support production schedules and customer delivery performance
Train and lead team members — mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures
Monitor inventory accuracy — conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate records
Support supply chain activities — including procurement planning, kitting, and ensuring material availability
