Material Handling Advisor
About The Position
Forklift Systems, a rapidly growing, family-owned company with over 45 years in business and numerous top dealer awards, is seeking a Material Handling Advisor for the Louisville–Jefferson County and surrounding counties territory. This established territory offers a strong foundation of existing customers and growth opportunities. The role involves selling new and used forklifts, material handling equipment, industrial vehicles, and allied products. While prior forklift sales experience is not required, motivated individuals will be trained. Compensation for entry-level candidates will start lower and increase with training milestones and performance. Qualified and experienced candidates can expect an annual salary of $80,000+.
Requirements
- Minimum 40-hour work week
- Self-motivated and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- General computer literacy
- Ability to successfully use CRM software (Pipedrive)
Nice To Haves
- Prior forklift sales experience is not required, but motivated individuals will be trained.
Responsibilities
- Sell new and used forklifts, material handling, industrial, and allied equipment
- Develop and grow assigned territory to maximize sales potential
- Build and implement sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base
- Identify and develop new accounts while maintaining existing accounts
- Complete sales documentation, quotations, and CRM updates (Pipedrive)
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships
