About The Position

Power/mation has an immediate opening for a full-time Material Handling Specialist at its Roseville, Minnesota location. The position supports daily warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Power/mation has a history dating back to 1961 and works with customers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. Its offerings include automation-related products and services in motion control, logic control, robotics, pneumatics, software, sensors, vision, machine safety, power transmission, and control panel components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn products, systems, and warehouse operations.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Experience using an ERP system; Epicor Profit21 (P21) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately following FIFO principles.
• Prepare domestic and international shipments within time standards.
• Receive and verify inbound shipments, and store inventory in proper locations.
• Label and organize inventory and maintain accurate system records.
• Resolve discrepancies and report damaged or nonconforming materials.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory processes.
• Support walk-in customers and internal teams with order needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
