About The Position

The Material Handler operates powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. The role checks inbound and outbound products for damage and infestation, ensures product code dates are recorded correctly, and verifies products meet customer requirements. The posted schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is $19.55 per hour, with a $1.50-per-hour weekend shift premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes for more than 20% of the specified shift.
• Put away and pick products for shipment or stock, ensuring the exact number and type of products ordered by the customer are checked and loaded correctly.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address against customer orders to ensure outbound shipments are complete and correct.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies, including unavailable products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and its equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Inspect operated equipment daily and complete daily equipment inspections.
• Assist with physical inventories.
