About The Position

As a Warehouse Material Handler at Graybar, you will work with the team to ensure products reach their destinations. Duties include unloading delivery vehicles, receiving and storing inventory, and selecting and packing customer orders. At times, you may deliver customer orders using a light van or delivery vehicle. Graybar is an employee-owned company that provides employees opportunities to learn and grow into higher-level positions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The expected starting pay rate is $21.00 per hour, depending on experience. Steel-toed boots are required. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to meet the physical demands of warehouse work, including lifting up to 70 pounds, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and remaining active in varying temperatures depending on the location.
Safely operate warehouse equipment and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Demonstrate good attendance and work ethic.
Perform tasks quickly and accurately.
Wear steel-toed boots.

Responsibilities

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
Unload deliveries and accurately receive inventory.
Store products in designated locations and record their locations in the system.
Select and pack customer orders.
At times, deliver customer orders using a light van or delivery vehicle.
Maintain a clean warehouse, follow safety procedures, and perform daily safety inspections.
