With 1800+ employees in more than 30 countries and over 75 years of experience, we are the trusted, global, long-term partner for the world’s leading OEMs. This role keeps production machines stocked with product by placing appropriate parts at the machines as needed, assists manufacturing associates in obtaining components for production, and moves full boxes of finished parts to final inspection or shipping and scans them. The position also involves stocking shelves with components throughout the shift, sending parts out to be plated, and assisting in moving incoming material to the proper stock location and rotating stock. Additionally, the Material Handler pulls packing slips off cartons, delivers received goods to the appropriate person/department, and uses a forklift to load and unload trucks including bar stock & pallets. Other duties include moving cardboard to the recycle bin and emptying it as needed, greasing O-rings and filling clips, and helping to band and wrap pallets. The role actively supports continuous improvement within the Production Department and performs regular rounds to replenish material at machines.

Requirements

  • Fork truck, pallet jack, and Big Joe (Stock Picker) required
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Attention to detail including basic math skills
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 6 months to 1 years’ shipping experience required
  • No industry experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of System Analysis Program Development (SAP) and Leading 2 Lean (L2L) preferred
  • Forklift certification is strongly preferred

Responsibilities
