About The Position

A Material Handler is responsible for moving and storing various materials within the warehouse. The main duties include loading and unloading material with a fork truck, recording receiving transactions into the ERP system based on the vendor’s packing slip.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long hours (10 or 12-hour shifts)/ weekends on an as needed basis.
• Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Operate within existing safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally (and occasionally in writing) with co-workers and supervisors, and the ability to understand and quickly react to job-related oral and/or written directions, safety information, and communications (which are generally in English), as our manufacturing processes are constantly changing and evolving.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory kits.
• Drive fork truck.
• Load/unload material from trucks.
• Move material around the warehouse and production floor.
• Perform transfers of material in ERP system with a scan gun and computer.
• Label products.
• Identify and locate correct products during the delivery process.
• Assist in physical inventory counts.
