About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and organized movement of materials, products, and goods within the production facility and supports the production team with operations tasks needed to meet manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of work experience.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow established written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and transfer orders; move materials physically and in company systems, perform cycle counts, and ship finished goods and materials.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Operate production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and proactively uphold the safety culture.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly, and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform required equipment inspections and sweep, dust, mop, and organize warehouse and work areas to ensure safe operation.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas depending on workload.
• Complete other tasks as needed or directed by management.
