About The Position

Under general supervision, work as part of the production control team operating a forklift to receive and move raw materials and parts throughout the plant as required by production.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
• Prefer 2+ years of experience in operating a fork lift, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Receive and move raw materials and parts to prescribed departments and locations in a timely manner
• Load finished goods onto trucks for out-going shipments
• Supply production lines with necessary materials when required
• Move miscellaneous scrap materials out of production areas to warehouse or yard
• Label and identify product correctly and move inventory via BES software
• Keep work areas clean and orderly
• Strictly adhere to all plant safety rules
• Take active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
