About The Position

The Material Handler position focuses primarily on safe and efficient movement of products and materials though the entire manufacturing / production facility.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of previous experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, or business software systems).
• Loading/Unloading/Maneuvering large skids/containers of banded sheet metal and/or copper bar stock
• Forklift experience; sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, reach
• Pallet Jack experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, pull, and push throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet physical demands of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials: SIT/ STAND / REACH LIFTS – CHERRY PICKER AND PALLET JACK
• Prepare products and materials for shipment and movement on floor.
• Load, unload, stage products and materials.
• Track and record units of materials handled.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Receiving experience; via computer input (not utilizing scan guns)
