As a Material Handler, you will help to support our Automated Storage Retrieval System within our Warehouse, while also being responsible for loading and unloading products. You will utilize digital systems for all shipping and receiving processes, as well as for communicating across the warehouse team. You will be accountable for ensuring high quality standards are met for all outgoing finished product. The schedule for this role will start out on day shift for orientation and training. After several weeks of training have been completed, associates for this role will move to working a 2-2-3 schedule on night shift (6pm-6am). The starting pay for this position is $31.07/hr., with a progression plan that provides for the ability to earn wages up to $34.28/hr., based on knowledge/skill demonstration, technical assessments and performance reviews. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience with material handling, shipping and receiving or related functions within a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
  • 1+ years of forklift operating experience
  • Proficiency using digital tools or programs such as SAP
  • After orientation and training, you must be willing to work a night shift schedule

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for supporting the Automated Storage Retrieval System, including cleaning and inspecting the system, making corrections to pallets as needed, troubleshooting, and inventory monitoring.
  • Conduct trailer inspections and support shipping functions including case picking, loading and related processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support receiving functions including unloading trailers operating a forklift, inspecting products and ensuring products are placed into correct storage areas. Repair damaged products as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse sanitation practices, support partial pallet consolidation, cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Actively participate in all factory Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
