About The Position

Volt is hiring a Material Handler I in Sanger, California, for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. The role supports warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production activities. The schedule is first shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour; the offered pay may depend on factors such as education, work experience, work location, job duties, and certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience.
• Experience performing inventory counts and inventory control.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Computer literacy and ability to accurately enter and track inventory data.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and pick lists.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to quality and workplace safety.

• Experience with NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials.
• Verify shipments and report discrepancies.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through labeling, counting, and location tracking.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production schedules.
• Prepare shipments, including packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.
