About The Position
The Material Handler is part of a production line crew and performs tasks including cleaning and identifying metal, packaging material, assisting with minor maintenance, and setting up equipment. The role requires operating material-handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, and using job-specific tools. Work is primarily conducted in an industrial environment that may involve noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment are essential.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse and forklift/side-loader experience.
- Good mathematical competencies.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure to the sixteenth.
- Experience with micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to spend 80% of the day standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- High school education or GED desired.
- Experience with cutting and banding equipment.
Responsibilities

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
